"Cricket" was my top producer for many years. She is a 1991 30" bay pinto mare. What an outstanding mare she's been for Winsome, Etc! She has produced 11 foals including a multiple World Champion, 3 foals with multiple World or National Top Tens, 1 AMHR National Champion All Star,and 3 foals with NWMHC High Point awards. "Cricket" so deserves her upcoming retirement and may her specialness grace my pasture for many years to come.
I am honored that Blue Ice Miniature Horse Farm allowed me to purchase "Vanity". She is a 1988 black and white homozygous pinto, pictured here at age 22. Importantly, her foals have been outstanding. She is the dam of 1 World Champion, 1 World Reserve Champion, 1 World Top Ten 2-year old colt in 2009, 1 World Top Ten Yearling Colt in 2010 and 2 World High Point foals, 1 AMHA Regional Champion, 8 World Top Ten Titles, 4 AMHR National Top Ten and Futurity titles and 7 AMHA Honor Roll titles. She is a double line bred daughter/great grand daughter of the much respected World Reserve Grand Champion Senior Stallion, Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan. I thought Vanity was retired from making gorgeous, winning babies, but she just produced her 17th, a stunning colt by Devon - yet another show-stopper to add to her amazing list of winning get! What a grand old lady! Vanity will retire here, along with Cricket, to be much loved and forever respected.
